International Medcom

Founded in 1986, International Medcom was formed to develop and produce high quality radiation detection equipment and systems. International Medcom products are widely used throughout the world, by individuals, institutions and communities concerned with health and safety, environmental protection, and education.

International Medcom community monitoring systems can be found in the community surrounding Three Mile Island and also the community surrounding the Seabrook nuclear power station.

One of International Medcom's best technical achievements was the development of the highly stable and sensitive portable gamma spectroscopy meter which was purpose designed in order to detect smuggled Uranium 235 at borders in both Khazakstan and Belarus.
