Power up the TVOC and it will monitor for volatile organic compounds all day every day.

The TVOC is a robust monitor and has a large clear display and indicates the gas level in ppm, parts per million.

TVOC measures most VOCs including fuel vapours, solvent cleaners, paints, de-greasers, adhesives, inks etc. Levels up to 1,000ppm are measured.

A 4-20mA analogue output allows you to connect an optional remote alarm or switch or fan etc.

The TVOC can be used in a Zone 2 area without the need for safe barriers. Zone 1 area monitoring means barriers would be required. Contamination issues are always a potential problem but because TVOC incorporates the patented Shaw City fence electrode technology, the instrument will provide extensive periods of trouble free operation.

TVOC is also designed to operate by diffusion which means modest volumes of gas or vapour are sampled further reducing the risk of contamination.
