The first real portable Ion Mobility Spectrometer

The Draeger Safety Multi-IMS utilises the latest state-of-the-art handheld detection and monitoring system. It is designed to detect chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial compounds/materials with fast response. The sensor technology is based on the Open Loop Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS), it uses an Ion Mobility Cell that provides improved sensitivity and selectivity.

Alarms are devised to detect preprogrammed chemicals and compounds quickly in low concentrations.

The Draeger Safety Multi-IMS weighs less than 770 g. Its compact size is thus ideal as a personal detector, or a monitor for surveying after an event. The system has an user-friendly interface, which can be operated using just one hand.

The Draeger Safety Multi-IMS also has very low life cycle costs with no expendables required.
